It's a pleasant binding, from a good independent imprint, but thank god my copy was given to me for free. Here's the author's description of himself from the back cover:
"Steven A. Grasse is a man of many talents. He is the founder and CEO of a large independent ad agency, owns several successful clothing and liquor brands, and has written and directed many independent films. This is his first book."
After that, the author can't help but embarrass himself. The three-color illustrations are delightful, and convey the desired piquancy the text simply isn't capable of. Sure, his stories are well-tread and full of half-truths, but that's the aura he's chosen. The problem is, when you call yourself a rebel, and push bland anecdotes as rebellious ideas, you've pretty much canceled yourself out. As an object, the book is pretty but vacant, and that seems to be exactly what the author aspires to.
