If the Uk should pay for reparations, everyone who lives, had lived and whose ancestors no matter how much percentage came from the uk should pay compensation equally. Thats a vast percentage of americans, probably also including mr grasse

i know when Croatia wanted out of yugoslavia (britain was definitely involved in that "union"), britain did not recognize them. When germany recognized Croatia, Britain was fucking pissed. Fuck England, they could have prevented a war by recognizing Croatia, and Bosnia. But they wanted to keep their shit Yugoslavia together...ask other nationalities, they'll have stories of the British.

Do you not think that we wanted Yugoslavia to stay whole for the hell of it, do you really think it is just that easy to split a county up look at the partition of India they said it would bring peace to the sub continent but it has bought more problems to the situation, my grandfather was a Yugoslav of Croatia and it was better as a union he and his family were happy the country was going well now they are, presumed dead homeless and strewn across Europe.

psh, you all said the same thing about Ireland, when it left the UK. And today, Ireland's economy is better (GDP per capita). And NO, life is not worse in Croatia today, it is better. "a Yugoslav", imaginary term. None of this war would have happened, if Yugoslavia never even formed. And yes, realizing Croatia independence, and right to freedom and self-defense, would have stopped the war. Before Germany recognized Croatia, USA, and especially Britian were pro-Milosevic.

This really summons up all the arrogans of the U.S. When it comes to share culture, Americans are all for it, because if they could not do that they would not even have culture and history. So no problem sharing with us what the West has achieved, but when it comes to the crusade or wars, they suddenly step out of the "club" and start pointing fingers. Every nation is responsible for atrocities. What about the Japanese and what they did to the Chinese during world war 2? What about the Germans who murdered millions , and the Soviets also? What about the Chinese who commit atrocities against the Uigurs and the Tibetians. The Americans killed hundreds of thousands of native Americans. Gees even Europeans killed Europeans, look at world war 1 and 2. It is just a dog eat dog world.

Because the British Empire did some truly amazing things, industralizing the world for example. If it wern't for our allies, the British, technology today would be really bad. Sure they did bad things but you have to understand Britain threw everything away when Germany was rising, because Germany was far, far worse.

This is rubbish. The British brought industrialization to the world, and many scientific developments. They civilized the black Africans, and the primative Indians. Brought civilization to Asia. The Portugese were the first Europeans to enslave Africans, not the British. The Spaniards enslaved Africans, and Indians. The Spaniards slaughtered millions of Indians. You can't blame everything on the British Empire.
